Aims & Objects of the Mahasangh:

The main aims & objects of the Mahasangh are as under.

1) To promote unity among Prajapati Community members: To unite and promote brotherhood among the various groups and factions of our community spread all over the States, union Territories and abroad using different titles including Kumhar, Kumbhkar, Kulal, Kumara, Pandit, Kumawat, Prajapat, Vellar, Shettiyar, Periar, Pillai, Behra, Sahu, Rana, Shalivahan, Pal, Mistri etc.

2) To educate community members against social evils, outdated and bad traditions: To eradicate the social evils and outdated and bad
customary traditions.

3) To fight against atrocities like rape, exploitation and harassment:

4) To facilitate educational and financial help: To facilitate educational helps and counseling to genius .
poor students and helpless families. To educate members for going in for quality education such as CBSE, ICSE, and making them aware of opportunities available for high, studies in different fields and Government support availability under the different schemes,

6) To motivate them to avail the coaching facilities available, for OBCs and appear in civil services exams including IAs
IPS, IRS, IFS, PCS and other competitive exams including C.A., Engg. Medical etc.,

7) To persuade our capable community members to construct hostels for students and those preparing for civil services ; competitive exams including IAS, PCS, Engg., Medical, Banking fields etc.

8) To modernize, upgrade the age old clay pottery work and skill up gradations of clay artisans:

9) To facilitate up gradation of age old pottery profession by utilizing new technology, innovations and modern tools to improve the quality and productivity,

10) To upgrade the clay pottery skills for making, terracotta, black & red pottery and allied products using innovations, modern tools & technologies besides promoting marketing of such products in domestic as well as in export markets under various schemes launched by Central & State Governments including Khadi Gram Udyog and various Municipal Corporations,

11) Khadi Village industries Boards (KVIB), Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Development Commissioner (Handicrafts). Department of Science &
Technology etc . have the schemes for promotion of Clay & Pottery artisans and Clay & Pottery industry as a whole.
